Many programs can be run as no install programs. First install the program. Copy the folders and files into a folder on your portable device except the uninstall files. Then uninstall the program from your hard drive. An example is with Xenu. An alternative method is to extract the files from the installer to a folder using Universal Extractor, and test it's portability.
